Model 710 Tiller

Model 710 tractor with the 18" rototiller is a great performing small tiller. With good rearward weight bias putting a higher percentage of the weight on the tiller along with high tine speed and efficient power transmission to the tiller, this machine breaks new ground faster and more thoroughly. The 710 Gardener out performs much larger and more powerful tillers of the competitors.

The 710 model has been redefined for 2011. It is now the same tractor as the BCS 718 and 722 but supplied with a 5.7hp Subaru engine. It has two working speeds for both front mounted and rear mounted attachments.

Model 712 Tiller

This is our most popular unit for rental companys. These machines come standard with either a 5.5 h.p or an 8 h.p Honda engine. As an 18” or 20" tiller, its compactness and large 15” diameter tires make it both stable and easy to handle. Featuring a slow tilling speed of 0.6mph, the tines rotate 20 times per revolution of the wheel. It’s great for the tough jobs -- breaking new ground, tilling sod, and power composting. The finely tilled seedbeds that it produces are ready to plant; no raking required. Since it lacks the faster cultivating speed of the larger models, it is especially appropriate for folks who are gardening in beds and not mechanically cultivating between rows.

The single mowing speed of 1.4mph is appropriate for either the 30” or 40” sickle bar mower. This “off-the-lawn” mower will make short work of controlling those portions of your property that do not need to be manicured lawn.

Either as a tiller or sickle bar, the 712 also features:
**A geared reverse speed;
**A separate control to turn your implement on-and-off, independently of the wheels; and anti-vibe handlebars that instantly adjust both vertically and side-to-side.

Model 718 Tiller

Built to the same specifications as the 716, this model has an enhanced handlebar system that provides more vertical height settings, added anti-vibration, and improves shifting. This model features two working speeds for both front- and rear-mount attachments. As an 18” tiller, the 718 features both low gear for seedbed preparation and second gear for cultivating. In first, the tines rotate 20 times per revolution of the wheel. In second, the tines rotate 10 times per revolution of the wheel, which eliminates weeds and creates a dirt mulch, without over pulverizing the soil.

By way of front-mount attachments, the 6.5HP industrial/commercial engine powers our 20” rotary brush mower, in addition to the 30” and 40” sickle bar mowers. Also, a 20” snow thrower can be added to tackle the worst of winter’s snowfalls.

Other 718 features include:
**A fast transport speed to ride your tiller to the garden (requires sulky); **Easy-to-engage, shuttle-type reverse; **A separate control to turn your implement on-and-off, independently of the wheels; and anti-vibe handlebars that instantly adjust both vertically and side-to-side.

Model 722 Tiller

Model 732 Tiller

Differential drive and an 11HP Honda engine provide this model with both power and "turn-on-a-dime" maneuverability. The distinctive characteristic of our Professional Series is differential drive -- the ability of one tractor wheel to turn faster or slower than the other. This provides “turn-on-a-dime” maneuverability and is a virtual must if you want to mow around individual trees and/or get close to things. Differential drive makes all turning easy, whether it’s the tiller at the end of your row, the snow thrower at the end of the driveway, etc.

The model 732 features two working speeds for both front- and rear-mount attachments. As a tiller, the 732 features both low gear for seedbed preparation and second gear for cultivating. In first, the tines rotate 20 times per revolution of the wheel. In second, the tines rotate 10 times per revolution of the wheel, which eliminates weeds and creates a dirt mulch, without over pulverizing the soil. For large-scale gardeners, the 26” tiller will speed the process of seedbed preparation. It can then be narrowed to 20”, in order to cultivate between rows. Similarly, the 30” tiller can be narrowed to 26”.

By way of front-mount attachments, the 11HP Honda engine powers our 20”, 26”, or 30” rotary brush mowers, in addition to all the sickle bar mowers. A 24” or 28” snow thrower can be added to tackle the worst of winter’s snowfalls. Other attachments include the chipper/shredder, 40” sweeper, and dozer blade.

Other 732 features include:

Model 853 Tiller

Powered by a 13HP Honda engine, this top-of-the-line model features three working speeds in both directions and differential drive. The distinctive characteristic of our Professional Series is differential drive -- the ability of one tractor wheel to turn faster or slower than the other. This provides “turn-on-a-dime” maneuverability and is a virtual must if you want to mow around individual trees and/or get close to things. Differential drive makes all turning easy, whether it’s the tiller at the end of your row, the snow thrower at the end of the driveway, etc.

The model 853 features three working speeds for both front- and rear-mount attachments. As a tiller, the 853 features both low gear for seedbed preparation and second gear for cultivating. In first, the tines rotate 20 times per revolution of the wheel. In second, the tines rotate 10 times per revolution of the wheel, which eliminates weeds and creates a dirt mulch, without over pulverizing the soil.

The 13HP Honda engine provides power-to-spare for all our rotary brush mowers, in addition to the sickle bar mowers. Its 2.7mph third gear is the logical choice for lawn mowing applications. A mowing sulky can be added for those who would prefer to ride.

Other attachments include the 24” or 28” snow thrower, chipper/shredder, 40” sweeper, and dozer blade.

Other 853 features include:
**A fast transport speed for all front-mount attachments (requires the mowing sulky);
**Differential lockout to provide positive traction on demand;
**Individual wheel brakes for turning and parking;
**Easy-to-engage, shuttle-type reverse;

Model 948 Tiller

Built specifically with commercial market farmers and nurserymen in mind, this model is tailored to the requirements of its large 33" tiller. This is our largest two-wheel tractor. While it has the ability to operate a full range of attachments, its design is oriented toward the tilling needs of commercial market farmers and nurserymen. The variable-width (33”– 27”) tiller can prepare acres of seedbed in a reasonable length of time and cultivate even more. Special gear reduction mechanisms on the wheel axles enable the large 22” diameter tires to achieve ground speeds ideal for both primary and secondary tillage.
