What's the commercial difference?
The
Z34 has heavy steel welded Uni-Body construction, manufactured to tough
commercial mower standards. It's a 10 gauge steel deck with a 7 gauge
steel plate supporting the deck and 7 gauge side skirts. The steel
deck controls blade vibration, improving the quality of the cut and
lessening operator fatigue. This mower is made to handle a professional
cutter’s long hours of mowing and more challenging turf conditions.
Ergonomic
dual handles control the zero-turning radius, making trimming and turning
a smooth, easy operation. This rider is so easy to operate, nearly
anyone can mow like a pro!
The Z34's
low profile and low center of gravity are typical of a commercial rider
and provide better side hill stability. But there's more, because Encore
adds low maintenance blade spindles and a lifetime sealed hydrostatic
drive, the same features employed on Encore's large-area commercial mowers.

Maintenance-Free Blade Spindles -
It's the spindle scheme that's set the standard others now try to follow!
There is no grease zerk on Encore's innovative blade spindle assembly.
This assembly reduces routine maintenance and gives a longer bearing
life - so there is a two-year warranty on the spindle. For basic upkeep,
bearings are fully repairable in the field.
