Double sure-grip,
dual belt traction - Encore's
Premier mowers have doubled the traction control by using two V belts
to each rear drive wheel. You'll feel the difference with more positive
drive and reduced slippage, especially in wet turf and on side slopes,
but the added control will increase your mowing speed and efficiency
in all conditions.
Easy-grip control
and operation - The solid construction of Encore's
deck transfers less vibration and turf jarring so even inexperienced
operators can handily manage the mower across rough terrain. All controls
are positioned within easy reach and work on a light grip. Larger, stronger
front casters - The Premier mowers' front caster assembly has steel yokes
and 10" caster wheels. You'll get longer life on the bearings, plus
better floatation and shock absorption on rough terrain.

Rugged, dependable
deck construction - This is the simple, solid
fabricated deck design that set the industry standard. Rugged 10 gauge
steel cutter deck and 7 gauge wear strips and side skirt give strength and long life.
There's also a Z-bar, where the front of the deck mounts to the rear
deck, this bar runs front to back for additional stability and strength.
Reinforced deck and front bumper -
More steel! Exactly positioned 7 gauge support channels under the belt
shield minimize vibration and further increase deck strength. This is
a key reason for Encore's precision, level cut. A square, 1 1/4" tubular
steel bumper adds more front deck stability between the casters and protects
the mower from front end damage.
Five speeds to match power to cutting conditions -
Shift on-the-go with a sealed Peerless transmission through 5 forward
speeds and reverse assist. To increase the life of the transmission,
Encore has featured the new 9-spline transmission components on this
unit. The Peerless is both powerful and easy to operate. The knee shift
bar is in convenient operator reach.
Maintenance-Free Blade Spindles -
All Encore mowers feature a maintenance-free blade spindle assembly with
no grease zerk to maintain. Blade spindles are heavy cast aluminum with
precision sealed ball bearings for long, dependable service. Encore's
drive-wheel pulleys and brake drums are also extremely low maintenance.
The pulley and the brake drum can both be replaced without replacing
the entire wheel assembly. As for the six-inch brake drums, you just
can't get longer wear and easier steering from anything else.
Convenient removable fuel tank - Refueling will be faster because you can
now simply strap on a fresh tank. No spills. No fuel cans. Fill up spare
tanks at the shop and you're fueled up for the work day.

Increased cooling capacity - Encore's overall hydrostatic system runs
cooler because of value-added engineering like steel lines from the hydrostatic
pumps to the Torqmotors. There's also a 2 1/2 gallon oil reservoir that
gives the system increased cooling capacity. No special oil is required.
This is a system you can rely upon with inexpensive, standard 20W50 oil
and routine maintenance.
The
Classic is a self-propelled unit with a simple design, engineered to
make the mower durable and easy to maintain. The welded steel deck construction
features 10 gauge steel. The steel spoke drive wheels are 20x2.125. Rather
than plastic, the wheel uses a composite that will stay on the rim better.
