ago Oregon® has been, and remains, at the forefront of chainsaw
cutting-systems technology and continues to produce the most advanced
line of cutting chain available today. |
- GUIDE BARS -
|
Oregon® is the world leader in chainsaw guide-bars. It brands
bars for many major chainsaw manufacturers and sells Oregon-brand
in the replacement market worldwide.
Here's what Oregon® provides users:
- Optimum performance and long service life in every
bar -- from bars for mechanical-timer-harvesting machines
to bars for small-displacement hand-held saws.
- Bars with exceptional rigidity and increased resistance
to bar-rail wear and bar-rail chipping.
- Bars that allow you to tighten cutting chain with a
simple mechanism built right into the bar. No more fussing
with cumbersome saw-head chain-tensioning devices.
- Solid bars with armor-tipped noses that let you cut
better in abrasive conditions -- when wood is impregnated
with sand or while you're cutting in rocky areas.
- Bars with sprocket noses that let cutting chain revolve
around the bar with less effort. You get more cutting horsepower
from your saw..
- Bars with advanced lubrication features that keep
plenty of oil to bar rails, nose sprocket, and chain while
slicing through the toughest timber.

Oregon® guide bars, like Oregon® cutting chain, are made to
the highest precision and quality standards in the industry. Our manufacturing
technology is unsurpassed and we have bars to fit every chainsaw, no
matter where it's made. The cutting team of Oregon® bar, chain,
and chain-sprocket ensures that you can turn your ordinary saw into
a great one. |
- DRIVE SPROCKETS -
|
SPROCKETS: The chainsaw drive sprocket moves
the cutting chain around a saw's guide bar at high speed and are an
essential element of the saw's cutting team consisting of the bar,
chain, and sprocket. Oregon® offers a wide range of sprocket types
for different sawing applications -- for professional timber cutters
to homeowners who use saws to cut firewood and do chores around home.
The ultimate drive-sprocket system is the Power Mate® system.
Power Mate® provides you with:
- Smoother cutting
- More horsepower delivered from the saw
- Less chain jumping off the bar
- Reduced expensive chain wear
|
The system's rim-type sprocket can be replaced when
necessary saving you money -- no need to replace the whole system.Oregon®
sprockets can be installed on chainsaws having either inboard-clutch
or outboard-clutch assemblies. Follow instructions in the operator's
manual provided by your chainsaw manufacturer for correct sprocket
installation.

|
POWER MATE® RIM SPROCKETS
Rim sprockets "float" on the splined hub, allowing chain
and sprocket to self-align with the bar groove. The three most
popular sizes are available in a radially ported design, which
uses centrifugal force to throw off sawdust and debris.
|

|
These sprockets offer excellent performance and top value for occasional
users of lightweight, high-speed consumer chainsaws. Designed specifically
for use with 90 series chain types (90SG, 91VG, 91VS).
|

|
An economical sprocket built to fit a limited group of saws operated
by users who prefer professional-type 3/8"-pitch chain. Pro-Am®

|

|
For professional users who prefer a spur-type sprocket. Pro Spur®
sprockets are rugged and dependable. They have excellent wear resistance
and are available to fit professional-type .325"-, 3/8"-,
