Cable Guard Feeder
  • Cable guard feeder available in 16' , 20', and 24' sizes.
  • The main feed pan is constructed of prime steel with the square tubing around the top of the feed pan.
  • All models have a full axle all the way through the unit.
  • 6 hole hubs and wheels-90° turning radius-quick hitch tongue.
  • Cable is adjustable up or down by moving clamps that hold the cable, to help eliminate spillage by livestock as cattle can move up or down the bunk when pushed.
Slant Bar Feeder
  • Available in 16', 20', and 24' Single Axle, 24' and 30' Tandem Axle
  • Axles are fixed and reinforced with 3" channel
  • 6-Hole implement hubs and wheels with the dish reversed on the wheel to allow the valve stem to be located on the inside wheel
  • Feed tub is designed to help eliminate spillage
  • Straight thru axle design under the feeder-not stub axles
  • Tricycle front with quick hitch tongue
  • Feed tub is 14 gauge prime steel with 2" square tubing frame around tub and also around unit at the top. Tubing is 14 gauge tubing used at the front
  • Slant Bars Are 14 Gauge Tubing
  • Removable end panels and galvanized side sheets for feeding of large round bales
  • Position of square tubing from feeder inside to bottom feed pan makes for easy cleaning
  • Prime coated for better paint adhesion
  • Steeper angle of galvanized insert for better feed flow
  • Bolt together design allows feeders to be shipped partially unassembled-for transportation purposes

Slant Bar Feeder Efficiently Feeds:

  • Slant Bar Single Axle Models-16'-20'-24' :
  • Slant bars help prevent cattle from moving in and out.
  • Low, comfortable height of tank sides. All sizes of cattle can feed with heads in unit (EXCEPT CATTLE WITH HORNS).
  • The inside sidewalls and end panels can be removed for better feeding of square or round bales. The panels are removable on both cable type and slant bar H & S feeders.
CAUTION
DO NOT USE SLANT BAR FEEDER FOR LIVESTOCK WITH HORNS.
