Even Material Flow
With Meyer’s Material Movement System (MMS) material flows evenly to the spinner allowing an even distribution of material coverage to the ground.

Stay In Control
The 6.5HP Briggs and Stratton motor makes quick work of even the toughest materials, and the in-cab controller, with electric start, mounts in the cab for operator accessibility.

Liquid Pre-Wet System
Want to decrease your salt consumption and reduce the amount of time it takes for the salt to melt the ice and snow on the road? Studies show that by pre-wetting salt prior to spreading can reduce salt consumption by 20 to 30% and reduce the time to achieve bare pavement from 20 hours to 2 hours. Our fully integrated pre-wetting system includes two fifteen-gallon tanks (one for each side of the spreader) and the mounting brackets to install the pre-wet system. Included in the system is cab-mounted variable speed controller for adjusting the output of the liquid. Two variable orifice rubber nozzles are provided to evenly treat granular material as it falls onto the spinner disc.

Tarp Kit
Our tarp kit is designed to prevent additional moisture or debris from being introduced into your PV hopper. The rugged one piece fitted tarp is waterproof and has ultra violet protection for longer life. Durable rubber tarp straps allow quick removal during hopper filling operations. The Tarp Kit includes all parts required to mount on the BL-600 spreader.

Nylon Strap Mounting Kit
Don’t settle for aftermarket nylon straps to mount your spreader to the floor of our truck. Our nylon strap mounting kits are designed to meet the rigorous requirements of harsh winter environments. Our mounting Kit includes four heavy duty 2" nylon ratcheting straps and hardware to quickly mount your spreader.

Baffle Plates
Meyer's unique internal/external baffle system is easy to adjust and lets you spread material exactly where you need to put it.

Top Screen
Our no tools required top screen breaks up large clumps of material which can cause damage to the drag chain and reduce performance.

Battery Harness Kit
Eliminate the need for an auxiliary battery. Meyer’s Battery Harness Kit contains all the hardware necessary to utilize the power of your vehicle battery to drive your spreader. Designed to fit all truck sizes.

Sure Flow Vibrator
Having problems getting a steady flow of material to your spinner? Meyer’s Sure Flow Vibrator Kit delivers 200 pounds of force to break up even the most stubborn materials. Included in the kit is everything you need to mount the vibrator to your spreading including all hardware, wiring and a mounting plate.

Six-inch Side Extension
Our 6” tall side extension adds approximately 0.66 cubic yard capacity to the spreader. The spill shield easily bolts together allowing you to add capacity to your BL-600 spreader without any welding.

Inverted Vee
The inverted vee helps prevent material from bridging and slowing down the conveyor.

LPV Insert Spreaders

Meyer's Electric Low Profile V-Box is specifically designed for 1/2 to 1-ton pickups. Since the overall height is 25% less than typical pickup truck spreaders, rearward visibility is significantly increased. The LPV has been developed with field operators and field-tested to be the quietest and most efficient electric powered spreader available. The LPV is powered by a sealed, 12V electric motor and has fewer parts, which means less maintenance and less downtime. The LPV is available in 0.56 to 0.95 cubic yard capacities and lengths of 5,6,7 and 8 feet.

Utility LPV

Meyer introduces the Utility LPV Spreader with stainless steel construction and specifically designed for utility vehicles. Whether you are top dressing turf or spreading salt/sand for snow and ice control, the Utility LPV is designed for optimal performance and reliability. The LPV is powered by a sealed 12V electric motor and has fewer parts, which means less maintenance and less downtime.

The Meyer Utility LPV is equipped standard with a top screen and a 12" wide belt-over-chain conveyor, with replaceable floor. Secure, overlapping baffles and a 13" poly spinner disc provide precise material spreading. The double-crimped top edges and body supports provide rugged durability. It spreads free-flowing materials (sand, salt, or mixture) at controlled widths of 4' to 24'.

Meyer's versatile line of Insert Hopper Spreaders fit most 3/4 to 1-ton heavy duty pickup trucks and shares many of the same rugged, time saving, long-lasting features of our larger MDV series spreaders.

The Meyer PV is available in 7 and 8 foot lengths and has 1.8 and 2.0 cubic yard capacities. All PV's come standard with many features that others consider add-ons, including standard Drop N Loc top screens and inverted V's. Hydraulic drive option available.

Polyhawk Insert Spreader

The Meyer Polyhawk is an 8 foot long Corrosion Resistant Conveyor V-Box Spreader that fits most standard 3/4 to 1-ton pickup truck beds. The one-piece polyethylene hopper has a 2.0 cubic yard capacity and comes with a limited 10-year warranty.

The Polyhawk comes fully assembled (includes top screen) and can be initially installed in 2-3 hours and reinstalled in less than 30 minutes. The stainless steel conveyor assembly resists corrosion and minimizes maintenance. The swing up spinner assembly simplifies clean out and storage.

All these features (and more) provide all the performance of conventional V-Box spreaders with less weight, longer life, and less maintenance.

MDV Insert Spreader

Key Features:

Meyer's Medium Duty V-Box Spreader is designed to bring volume and versatility to your vehicle fleet with increased material capacity for the heavy duty sized trucks (15,000+ GVW). The MDV is available with flexible power supply options and can be either engine or hydraulically driven. Drop N Loc top screens provide increased safety and are standard - not special add-ons.

The Meyer Medium Duty V-Box Spreader is available in 9 and 10 foot lengths with 4 to 4.5 cubic yard capacities. The MDV provides the flexibility of a medium duty municipal vehicle with the capacity of a larger spreader, which means less time loading and more time spreading.
